The Baseline Pistol Course is designed for shooters who want more than casual range time. Whether you’re new to firearms or looking to refine your fundamentals, this course provides a structured, results-driven approach to building safe, repeatable handgun skills you can rely on.
Through focused instruction and guided live-fire drills, students learn how to evaluate their own performance, correct inefficiencies, and develop habits that support long-term growth. This course lays the groundwork for responsible, capable firearm ownership—on and off the range.
What You’ll Learn
- Core handgun fundamentals and safety principles
- Proper grip, stance, recoil management, and sight alignment
- Drawing and reholstering from an OWB holster
- Efficient reloads and malfunction management
- Strong- and support-side shooting fundamentals
- How to assess and improve your own shooting performance
Course Details
- Price: $400
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – approximately 5:00 PM
- Lunch: 1-hour break (flexible)
- Location: Ben Avery Shooting Facility (details provided before class)
- Certificate: Emailed within 24 hours of completion of training
Required Equipment
- Reliable EDC handgun (full-size recommended)
- OWB or IWB holster and quality belt
- Minimum of 3 magazines
- 800 rounds of ammunition
- Eye and ear protection
- Permanent marker
- Appropriate range attire
- Basic cleaning kit

Due to recent and ongoing challenges, For the safety of yourself and everyone attending this class, Sig P320 Gun will not be allowed.
